Does anyone have a schematic on this board? I can not find any reference on it? I googled once and I found something about maybe being in a 909s.

Thanks
STeve

It's not out of an 808, Cine 8 or 909. Can you post a pix of it?

THat looks to be the same as the one out of a late model 1209s. THe external power resistor and fuse give it away. I just pulled one out of a Runco 1100.

I do, but I don't give those. out.

Understand that I make my living repairing PC boards of CRT projectors. I don't give out information on how to repair them, and I only release schematics of the older projectors, sorry!

If I was doing this for fun, it would be different, but for me it doesn't make sense to give away troubleshooting techniques that took me years to learn.

When was the projector made and was it ever modified ? That board # is a bit strange...

Oh also why do you ask ? Some symptoms would help.

This appears to be a SEOS modified projector so good luck....

Yes, I have several sets of extender boards, I also have the service manuals. But they are not available for loan, sharing or sale.

Curt offered to repair it for you, because he has both setup, parts and experience to properly do the repair and do so in a timely fashion, which could take even the best technician months to fix.

There are several reasons why I'm always suggesting to people to send their defective boards to someone who has the right SETUP, TOOLS and EQUIPMENT to properly do the repair.

I'll name a few:

1, very longs threads started asking for help in fixing a board that was botched from inexperience with the circuits.

2, of the many people who would chime in to help, only a very few really know the actual board or circuit, with the rest extending the thread for months suggesting all kinds of things to TRY with the board eventually being sent to Curt.

I no longer participate in the threads where someone asks for help after they have applied inexperience to a board and could not get it to work.

So send the board to Curt and enjoy life..Very Happy

I would agree with Mike but your focus issue may be more of a Seos modification problem then board related...

It would help if you would share the problem you are seeing with focus ! Wink
