A friend of mine has this TV, he's having problems, Here's what he says:

Sharp Aquos 46"
LC-46D64U

When I plug the TV in, the red 'sleep' light should be on until I hit the pwr button on the remote or the TV. Instead, The green 'power' led comes on (solid green) and the TV clicks, but thats it.

Hmmm, no blinky blinky? Just solid green?

Try a force on. Unplug, press and hold ch down and vol up. While holding those button plug it in and give it a sec or two and see if it comes on.
