I've posted this problem before, but can't seem to get to the bottom of it. On the red, I've tried adjusting the focus coil, the ring coils, and I've adjusted the trim pots. I have focus razor sharp, but I cannot get the red to line up unless I max out comvergence. The only way I can think to decribe it is that the red is tilted, rotating the focus coil does nothing.

Any thoughts?

Have you tried to delete all memory blocks and start over with mechanical
setup - including rotating the deflection yokes for best basic alignment?

I am not sure I completely understand the problem but if the image is tilted on red then you need to rotate the deflection yoke not the focus yoke.

Well, color me stupid Embarassed . I have not touched the deflection yoke. I looked more closely at the set-up procedures and entirely missed that after going through it several hundred times.

Tonight I'll see if I can finally fix this. Thanks everyone.
