TV/Projector: Vidikron Vision 1 - Ultra

Posted: Tue May 17, 2011 3:07 pm    Post subject: Blinking Light on LVPS Main Light

Dear All,

Need some help as my Vision 1 is unable to start. I notice that my LVPS has blinking red light adjacent (3rd from the left) to the main socket.

Any advise will be greatly appreciated.

remove the connection to the conv board (flat cable) remove the focus module and try running with 1 neckboard connected at a time.

TV/Projector: All of them!

DVH is right, you can disconnect every cable and pull out every board with the exception of the CLM to see if the red light goes away. All you want to see at powerup is if the belly fans come on. If pulling boards and disconnecting connectors does nothing, then the LVPS itself is most likely bad. I can repair those.

Hi Guys,

You're right. I check on the convergence board and found some resister shorted at the metal clips. After replacing them, the machine is back to normal and had to do a complete re-initialization.

Thanks again for all the support!
