I've purchased a Panasonic 50" Plasma from Costco and it has a bad green push.I've found the service menu code. Now when I was young a TV tech told me to turn the colour off and the black and white picture will show a colour tint if the picture isn't black and white. There is a definite green tint.My question is should I turn up blue and red or turn down green ?I'll be doing this without calibration equipment. Thanks Darryl

$400 for a trained pro ISF guy is pretty reasonable. Why not take it back to Costco if it's that bad? They have very liberal exchange policies...
No question an amateur would probably charge less to calibrate, but you'd at least need to know the service code, and an end user probably doesn't have that if there is one. Not much you can usually do in the user menus from a color balance point of view.
