Here's one I haven't seen before. H distortion (see right side of image below). From the customer's email:
enclosed are examples of the picture on the screen.. the problem started a number of months ago but strangely, the projector began to work fine a month ago but the problem now has returned. it starts about 30 to 45 minutes into the movie. it starts with a band of distortion running thru the center of the screen and then within another 20 or so minutes the left third of the screen doubles onto the middle of the screen(see photo with blue ray image). i've taken the wood enclosure down from around the projector and have used a small fan blowing into the projector without any help. HELP!
I sold the set about a year ago or so, I'm wondering if his hushbox has caused the HDM to overheat.
Of course I've run the board at 1024p now for 24 hours with no issues. Mind you, my shop is pretty cool, probably about 55-60 degrees during the day. I checked the daughterboard, it's solid, no intermittent connections.
I can send him another HDM, but want to send anything else down that might cause this if anyone has seen it before.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

I wonder if keystone or h size changes the symptoms? If the power supply section of the HDM is not working right stuff like that can happen.
