Anyone here a MAME(multiple arcade machine emulator) freak?

If so, has anyone tried outputting the very low refresh rates equivalent to an early arcade monitor on their high end CRTs. As I believe MAME can be configured to do this. Screw 1080p, I want 240i Wink

Also, am I right in thinking that I'd need an older video card for my PC that would support outputting these resolutions? Or do modern graphics cards still support these low CRT resolutions.

I'd love to play Defender/Pac-Man/(you name it)... at it's original refresh rate on my 100" screen, with real scanlines, flicker and all Smile

Cheers,
Brad

EDIT: You want to run 240i on your projector? I think that's too low a scan rate. That's 7.875 KHz

That box above it to convert VGA to CGA for the original arcade monitors.
