Question:

The explanation of the new Moome EXT-FULLHD V3 that can handle HDMI 1.4 and 3d it says there are 3 options (setups) for connecting the device.

1. Movies on Bluray player or PS3 in combination with a 3d scaler like Lumagen Radiance (is the scaler really needed? And why?)

2. A bluray player via a pc. (Is the bluray player in the pc needed, is it not possible to play a downloaded MKV via the pc?) And a NVidia or ATI video card (why are these cards needed?)

3. for 3d games a ps3 (without the 3d scaler that was needed for playing movies on the PS3)

Now I want to do the following:
I want to play downloaded MKV files via my mediaplayer that have 3d SBS (side-by-side) pictures, so the total picture is 1080 but each side-by-side is 50% of it. Is it possible to just connect Moome's EXT-FULLHD V3 to my mediaplayer (mine is a Dvico TVIX 6500) have the shutter glasses connected to Moome;s EXT-FULLHD V3 and that one connected to my CRT (Barco 1209). And I live in Europe (so I would buy the 3d glasses here ... or is it better to buy them somewhere else, like the USA because of the connector plugs?)

Any help is welcome...
