looking for your valued opinion. As I was swapping out the lens that came with my PJ for a shorter throw. I noticed the fungus that has been well discussed. But I also noticed something that seamed odd to me, But to me everything is odd. The green tube sure doesn't look like it is not mounted, for lack of a better description, square or spaced evenly. if that is true would this have an effect? [/img]
again thanks for the help
Brian

As you seem to "get", from a bird's eye view, the imaginary line running down the green tube, c-mount, and lens axis should be perpendicular to the plane of the screen. That said, since the green tube/lens assemblies do not have toe-in adjustment (to my knowledge), I can't imagine how it could be wonky. Surely there are 9500LC pics you can find for comparison to your machine and maybe then you can see what is different. If this geometry is not true, you'd end up mounting the projector skewed and then might run-out of toe-in adjustment for red and blue. So yes, this would likely matter!
Incidentally, as a fellow noob, perhaps it is less scolding coming from me: you might be more specific in your posts regarding the exact nature of the problem w/ relevant machine details (I had to look at your other posts to see you had a 9500LC). In addition, there is a test posting area of the forum to practice posting, as well, should you keep having troubles with embedding pics or attaching pics. I need to work on that myself!
Bests,
Matt

Pic worth a thousand words | in microsoft photo editor re-size pics to 800 x 600. At the bottom of the page choose "Browse" and find your pic, double click. Then the next button down "add attachment". You can "preview" before you post to see what it looks like.
