I have a worn blue tube on my M7500 (R, G no wear), but I may have access to 180DVB tubes. Should I use them mixed (i.e. only the blue is DVB) if yes, do I need to modify the neckboard? (how?)

Hello

It should work; drill out vnb pin six with an eighth inch hole, the G2 jumper wire would go to pin six.

If you drill out the socket for pin six, the 330k resistor will not be in the circuit.
