Hi guys,

This is my first post here and I could really use some expert/experienced advice.

After reading through the Calibration for Dummies thread I took the plunge and bought and Eye-One LT, also the HD Basics disc. I've managed to calibrate the main TV in the front room very successfully and got everything pretty much spot on.
I then moved onto the TV we have in the bedroom, but this time not so much of a success. The luminance level moved slighty and I pretty much got the RGB ruler straight except for the lower end of the IRE. The Gamma it's what's causing the problem though. It will HARLDY budge at all. It's an LCD TV that I'm trying to calibrate and has a built in gamma setting that I have adjusted, but to no avail.
Could anyone tell me what I may be doing wrong or maybe something that I should be doing to correct the gamma?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Some sets have an auto back light that adjusts it as the room ambient light changes. make sure its off.

Thats might help a bit.
