I am still trouble shooting an issue. No crackle at start up or light from the tubes. I have been out of commission for a long time but I am now on a mission to fix it.
No issue lights on the CLM, changed out the back plane, Curt checked the CLM, HVPS and HDM. If someone has a parts machine and would be willing to let me start swapping boards to help trouble shoot I would be grateful.
We went and looked at an Anthem (aka JVC) today and my wife really did not like it as much. It was a heck of a lot better then what was out 5 years ago, I thought it looked good, but she really prefers what we have.

Scott did you swap out the back-plane?
The PJ needs to detect a working HDM, VDM, and an active video signal coming through the 3 Co-axial cables from the VIM to each tube. When it has all of those, deflection and video to control the beam, it will fully power up.
All the other boards can be disconnected. At this point, since you swapped out and checked everything else, my bet is on the video neck-boards. Are they stock, modified or pot-luck mystery boards?
