My friend have a Reality 909, see these pictures (out of convergence)



I2C diagnostic menu show a failure



Any suggestions?

If turning convergence off (midposition), removing all memory blocks and reseating Hdef card doesn't help, maybe it's bad IC202 (TDA8444T) in Hdef card as diagnostic suggest.

My friend has reset convergence to midposition, I don't know if has deleted all memory blocks.
I will ask him.

I have seen this before, but it was the SMPS that was bad, causing a false H shift error code.

Nothing other than one out of a Cine 9/909. The only parts in the new chassis that is compatible with the older BArcos are the HV section and the video switching/quad decoder boards. Everything else is different.

I can repair it here though.
