Do we ever use the HDTV Eureka, HDTV ATV, or HDTV Hivision cross hatch in the 1209s? I have hdtv but I use the NTSC cross hatch.

Thanks

I don't use any of those internal cross hatches, those are meant to be used when you don't have source connected.

It's better to use cross hatch from test disc so it will be same resolution that your actual picture. Also remember that Barco cross hatches have 4:3 AR, so those can't be used for asdig adjustments with 16:9 or wider screen. Blobs will be oval and it's impossible to adjust dots round...

You can use genlocked cross hatch for convergence if you don't have any test disc, it use same resolution and timings that current source.
