Yup, I have searched (but the forum search engine doesnt like 2 letter searches like 3D) I did read the main 3 threads on it....
PS3 - VP50 - 3D-Gamer - HDFury1 - Cine8 --> 1080p 3D?
If I use the above chain, could I get 3D games and/or movies? I was able to download from the PS Store a 3D Clip and it played, but it looked 2D...
Thoughts?

not a chance as the vp50 cannot pass 3d

No for blu-ray maybe with a custom edid oor the 3d-gamer available here you may get 3d gaming working.
But blu-ray will require a pc or radiance.
