|
|
Hey everyone. Yesterday I noticed that their appears to be a red line in the center of my screen. It appears to be very light yellow when displaying a white image and more red when displaying orange or brown colors on the screen. It just started yesterday after moving the projector onto a new table. It was moved very gently and didn't notice the issue right after the move. Anyone know what it could be? I read that it could be the deflection yoke so I adjusted that (moved it a little to see if it fixed the problem, didn't do anything).
Any ideas?
I also notice a clicking every 5-8 minutes coming from near the front of the projector. Perhaps the power supply or RGBHV input board?
Also, does anyone know how to focus the corners. No matter what I do (adjust the lenses, astigmatism, and general focus) my image looks like crap in the corners. Only the center is readable. Look ok with standard TV signal, just a computer signal looks like junk. Any help would be appreciated.
I'm thinking about running through the projector again and resetting it up, but things to look for while I have it apart would be great. I want to get it set up and looking great this time around.
Thanks!

Oh cool. I just read that. It makes sense. I just moved the projector and used the EM focus and convergence to adjust the picture. Perhaps it is excessive now. I'll have to pull apart the projector again and just do a fresh setup and see if that helps. Hopefully it will fix the corners as well. Anyone have any tricks for the corners?
Thanks!
