Nope. No Lumagen. Sony 550 to Moome V-2. Not bad< so there's room for improvement?
I was trying to use the Lumagen the other day I finally got it to accept 1080p24 but when it converts, up, down, or sideways [I am not sure what it does } to 1080p the one on one off signals on the DVE disc where banding so I just gave up on using it.
The Lumagen does upscale regular DVDs to 960p@72 great but using Blu-ray as the source it was degrading the signal.
Clarifying for others... I have the Lumagen Vision HDP PRO, not the Radiance.

I agree with Craig, the Lumagen HDP Pro should really help the image. Even BD. I have tried in my HDQ 1080p@24 in and 1080p@60 out , 1080p@48 out, and 800p@72 out. All worked fine. With 1080p@60 the one on one off was not as well resolved as with the other two settings.
You really need to try to get that thing in there. I wish I saved my Lumagen file for 800p as it worked great for 2.4 aspect movies. You could have uploaded it into your's. It took some playing with the timings to make sure the sync was longer then 1us to avoid the vertical squigglies.

Ahh, the ole user error huh? Well I sure it is me, but, I plugged in the HDMI to DVI cable to Lumagen, then out off the Lumagen with a DVI to HDMI converter, then HDMI cable to the Moome card.
It probably is the little $8 dollar converter causing the issues. I'm not all that worried about it since I'll be doing a blend or stack next year that will be configured for the best possible video chain when it's being put together.
Of course if you want to spill some secrets I'm all ears, or should I say eyes

yeah 817p@72 worked too. But I neeeeeeed 1080p@60 Or 72 because Firefly is a true 16x9 Blu-ray.
Now I cant watch a degradedimage of FireFly Now can I?
The signal must go on.

Damn Firefly!!!!
So the disc is authored in 1080p@60 or @24? that could be the problem. If its authored at 60hz video then this is your problem.
Id go 1080p@60 out the BD player and then the same to the PJ thorough the Lummie. then set up another memory in the lummie for the other BD's that are 1080p@24 for 2.4 aspect at 800p. I dont like 817, adds processing.

Can't do it. The Vision Pro isn't able to accept 1080p@60 on the input. It will take 1080p@24 or 1080i@60 and of course 480I&p 720p but all of these add processing.
I was using DVE essentials during the set up and saw the one on one off shifting lines and color shifting to green. Also the 1080p full burst were squigly and shifting into green as well.
Maybe I'll try some more later.
On the original topic My Blue tube is nearly Kaput. It's at G-2 of 74 now and last time I calibrated it was at 72 for the same output. There is a definite Ghosting of the phosphor at low IRE but if I "pull back' the blue I cant Get 6500K.
