I am getting really tired of this. This is the second issue I have had with this model AVR247. First time i saw sparks coming out from top of the unit. sent it back, guy on the phone told me it was actually nothing to be worried about. I should have kept it. The one I got back worked great for a few weeks. Now after getting another HD Fury, it's doing the same thing! I plug the fury directly into the dvi from my mac into the VGA of my LCD display and it looks great. So, great, the HDMI switch went bad on my receiver. Now i have to ship it back again. Or just say screw it and get a nice HDMI switch. However, I won't have any up-conversion of S Video, Component video, etc to HDMI that the receiver did. Is it possible to get anything like that under $70?
