Hell everybody, first time posting here. After reading Kal's Calibration guide for dummies i have decided to calibrate my LG 50PK550 that i just got 2 days ago. However i was wondering if the procedure to calibrate my display would be the same if its hooked up to a computer that i would use to play Blue Ray titles. Is there anything i have to mess with under the Video Driver settings before starting with the display itself?
Thank you very much for any help you guys can provide.
** Well last night i spent i would say 3 hours playing around with the TV and this is what i got so far. Let me know what do you guys think and all comments are welcome. Oh by the way, can somebody explain me the difference between 2 pt and 20Pt calibration? Thank you. ***

If you'll be mostly watching blurays from the htpc make sure you grab the patterns disk from AVS, it's called AVSHD, you should be able to find it in the calibration thread over there. That way you'll be calibrating to the same source.
Try not to make any adjustments in the computer, keep everything at defaults. Make all the setting changes on the TV. Once you know the controls of your TV (may need the service manual) it should follow along quite well with Kal's guide.

One important HTPC issue the can affect PQ are the video levels, Studio/Video levels (16-235) vs. PC levels (1-254).
I assume and would hope BR over HDMI would maintain the correct levels through the entire video chain to the PJ. I can't say for sure.
Perhaps someone more knowledgeable can chime in.
