Is it possible to wire a laptop display into VGA, DVI or other? I'm doing a project that needs a 15" laptop screen. Simply yes or no, can i rewire the infomation cable into a VGA or DVI? I know what i have to do with the power, but i meed to know if this is possible.

No. It's almost certainly cheaper to buy an LCD monitor.

There are industrial PC video cards that support panels, but they cost several hundred bucks, and you need to be sure that a card supports your particular LCD panel. A cheaper way is to buy an embedded PC motherboard that has a built-in LCD display controller. These could be under $50 for a surplus or obsolete one, but again, only a limited number of panels will be supported.

The best compromise might be to mutilate a working but obsolete laptop. PIII and P4 class laptops are obsolete by business standards, but are capable of DVD playback (and SD MPEG4 with a P4).
