It looks like AVS has taken over for Kal and Curt in selling Spectracal products.

I wasn't implying that it wasn't. I just wanted people to know that you can get a good discount on Spectracal products now over at AVS. I would probably go with Chromapure, but there are some that prefer the other company.

That would be because you spend all of your time in Arnold's thread.

Jesus Tom, what did you do to incite the rage of the AVS gods? That's crazy...

I along with Z-Photo and MadMrH were all moderators of the Evil Twin. All of us were banned from AVS. Guess they saw us as competition. As I said I just posted a link to my PM address at the ET on AVS to contact an AVS member.

In many ways the BS from the AVS moderators led to the creation this forum. Very Happy

I always wondered if it it wasn't AVS that hacked into the ET corrupting the data base ..............

Wow, sorry to hear all that. I've certainly been on the receiving end of some BS moderator calls, but it's their forum so not much I can do about it. The fact that guys like GM can run amuck over there after such a piss-poor track record, while good people who they ripped off are silenced over and over, is irritating to say the least.

The signal to noise ratio over there has also gotten disturbingly high. For example, the JVC RS40/50/60 thread has grown to over 2200 posts in exactly one month, with maybe 20 posts of useful content in the whole damn thing - and the projectors have barely made it into a couple people's hands as prototypes!

I never understood the whole AVS/ET thing, but it is their forum and the S stands for sales.

LOL, the RS thread has gone overboard. I have posted in it a couple of times and for some strange reason continue to read it. As someone who actually saw the damn pj, I think I can give some feedback. A lot of others are just speculating and just noise talking. One guy has over 100 posts in the thread and is probably close to 200. He hasn't even seen it, but he sure does have an opinion.
