Oh, what should i Add?
I need a graphics card with the ability of 3 Display Connectors, and the 5750 has got 3.
The problem is that i don't know if its powerstrip compatible.
greetings from Germany, Stefan

as far as i know powerstrip does not unterstutz the 5000 series ati radeon that is why i have a 4890.
you should check the powerstrip forum it has a list of the graphic processors that do work with poerstrip.

I had the same problem and returned the ati card because of the lack of powerstrip support. The problem is with ATI not releasing the proper info to powerstrip. They've been waiting for quite some time too. apparently new nvidia cards work just fine.

Thanks! That was the answer i waited (not) for. With your help i saved 129€ and downgrade to use a single monitor.
Maybe it is possible to use any "lowbuged" PCI Express Card in a 1x slot. I already cutted the bound of my x1 slot.
The problem was that i damaged the slot a little bit. But with the help of an toothpick the contact to a normal SATA controller is ok. Today i am waitung for an old x600 card to proof my idea.
Do you know nvidia Cards which have 3 simultanios output connectors? I got a Dell U2410 so i am flexible with one digital output.

Not sure that will work. Due to power consumption of the card. You could test though.
It stinks about ATI and powerstrip as I am looking at the 5830.
It has been ATIs best feature as far as I am concerned up to this point.

With powerstrip?
Might have to look a bit closer on the 460 then.
CUDA support might be nice as well.
Although two monitor (one HDMI/DVI and one Marquee) is required to work. Both cloned and extended for me to be happy.

Ok, ive got another question:
Is it possible to deactivate Aero on one screen? Maybe i use an old Matrox card for the third display. Its only a 19" tft with a vga connector and 1280x1024.
Our hobby is realy extravagant, you don't get information about those things in the web normally. Thats the reason i am very glad with my X1850xtx-> very good analogue quality, DVXA and fully powerstrip compatible. Changing the card is hard work most time, it's even hard to reconfigure one display, cause the ati driver is a little bit balky to give the hd resolution to a display which has not plugnplay.

Yes, you can deactivate Aero; just pick a different theme.
Powerstrip won't work with 5-series ATI cards, as reported here. I use a 4890 for that reason; it works fine with PS.
AFAIK powerstrip fails horribly on nV hardware, at least medium-to-older hardware. No go on the 9800 series, for sure. I can't say for the newer stuff though (GTX275 etc).

I've been told that the nvidia driver has enough options to create custom timings that powerstrip isn't needed.
