There is a switch on the small board in the back right corner ( opposite side to the HV ) of the NEC PGs that says right near it "HIGH BRIGHT" "LONG LIFE", does it do anything?

Its on the board with the 3 round devices that have white silicone spewing out of them, its a square press switch, and on my set it is in the outward position, which according to the little picture near it is the "HIGH BRIGHT" setting...

Id take a pic of it but i dont have that ability here at present....

Thanks in advance Smile

Exactly what it says, its the "boost" switch, just like Barco's have, only theirs is in software. I've never been able to actually SEE any difference when any crt projector is in "boost" mode though...

No worries, it doesnt actually say boost anywhere near it on mine. So its pretty much the same as the high and low power mode on a digital eh?

Thanks mate Smile

It makes your projector go to 11. See, while other projectors top out at 10, you hit that switch and can go to 11 and blow the other projectors off the stage.

Ok, I couldn't resist a bit of Spinal Tap this morning...lol. Very Happy
