I just bought a G90 for a great price from a well known calibrator. I haven't seen it, but it has 2400 hours on it. This was his personal G90 that he had to part with do to his new living situation.

I think what happened at VDC was one day an Ampro ate some bad tofu and crapped out a Marquee. And the mess is still being cleaned up. I'm just happy people still want to by CRTs. Everyone else seems to be on a digital kick. Every time I think of it, I think of the movie Demolition Man. Some A-holes ruin a great thing by creating some BS society without the good stuff, and us CRT guys are the underground people trying to start a revolution.

I don't think (in this instance) it has anything to do with PQ, I think it's more important on the G90 to keep power surges from damaging the machine.

I guess this pretty well takes care of any desire for G70 mods, eh Spanky? Wink

Wow, G90... When are you picking it up?

Hey William, how's school?

Actually I'm just poking fun at these guys. I dont really believe there are big advantages from one make to another. I only poke when someone says mines better then yours, lol.

How did you know I went by your place today within about 20 miles? Wish I could stop by but I'm on a schedule. We'll have to plan something out for the future.

Oh, nice score Spank. Will be awaiting your post that you have it up and running.

Kiev,
That is the big question. I can't remember if I told you and James about my living situation in Florida, but it didn't go to well when I went down there. I just got back to Atlanta and I will be here for awhile. For some reason my phone has been ringing off the hook up here.

Crabb,
Yeah, I think the G70 mods aren't going to happen. Scott's plate is a little to full these days.

Em,
You are right. I am not sure when I am going to pick it up. I have to much going on right now to go get it. I was going to pay some friends $100 to pick it up, but I know I would never hear the end of it. The biggest problem is when and where I will set it up.
