Can anyone help out with what cables go where. I could get some channels befor activating the digital cable now nothing. I think I need different cables. I'm trying to go through an old vcr with the digital cable into an Eletrohome 4100. The pictures are not very clear. I'm thinking I could do this a few different ways.[img][/img]

Can you post some more specific information? equipment make and model, what inputs do you have on the ECP, what cables are you running to the ECP?

Your question is very vague...

VCR = analog.

Why would you think it would work with digital cable? Do you not have a box?

I'll do it. I'm on a Mac. Wink

Zeppelin, you need a cable box to decode the digital cable. Your analog VCR's tuner and that RF box are useless in this application.

1. Get digital cable box from cable company.
2. Connect cable box's composite output (yellow RCA) directly to ECP and enjoy sub-par SD digital cable picture.
3. Throw away VCR. Wink

Do you get any HD with your cable package? Your ECP is capable of a much-higher picture quality than what you're currently feeding it.

Yeah I have the digtial box thats in another room. Evey other TV in the house gets a small box. Thats it in the lower right hand corner. I saw the main box has the yellow (RCA ) for the sub-par viewing.

I don't think the small boxes are digital. You need to feed a high def signal into your projector for best results.
