Strange noise from the power block on my Sony VPH-D50

Hi,

I have just switched on my TT for a small session and there, I hear a repetitive banging from the power supply.
Unsetting the power block, I saw that the card is equipped with a relai; could not the noise come from there?

Except for the noise, the image is there. Has anybody an idea?
