I was so disappointed this weekend to find that the FIOS set top box only outputs 1080i. Was hoping to watch the World Cup in glorious 1080P on the G90.

How do I copy the 1080P settings so that the pj will sync to 1080i. I've read the manual but I get a bit confused by all the memory blocks, factory/service settings. Its not very intuitive. Anyone offer a step-by-step guide idiots guide?

Thanks

You need to build a new memory from scratch. 1080i is only half the BW of 1080p and using a 1080p memory block on the G90 will be way off.

Sorry.

Don't you have any sort of a deinterlacer you can use. Scaler, receiver...

Thats what I feared. I'm using the OPPO 83 directly into the Moome on Input B, so no scaler or processor in the video chain. My processor is an Integra Research 7, so that won't help either.

Maybe time to pony up for a Radiance. Really wanted the G90 mods before going all out and hot-rodding the old girl. So what's the latest with the mods? Its gone all quiet on the MP thread.......

This brings up a question that I have about the G90 settings..
When you hold the Memory button for 5-10 seconds it brings up a box that gives the option to 'Save to Registration', 'Save to Focus'. When you save this way are you applying the changes only to the resolution in use or more globally?

Also, is there a way to reset one setting (like ZONE) to data 128? Is there a way to restore previous settings after making adjustments but prior to hitting Memory?
