Hey everyone,
Looking for some help.
I had an ECP 4100 that got flooded so it is a write off.
Now insurance will replace it with new but I think that will be hard to do.
They asked me to come up with a new replacement value and preferably in a letter so that they can pay me out.
Any suggestions oh how I would even come up with a price?
Thanks

If you want it on company letterhead, email me at curtpalme@shaw.ca
At $18K, your replacement should be a refurb 9500 Ultra with all new tubes..

A good reason why everyone should have a spare older CRT projector kicking around, either in your basement or trunk of your car! Replacement cost makes for a nice new home theatre.

Well, I was leaning more toward replacement cost value for insurance purposes vs actual market value today. Get in a car accident or house damage and you have an extra 18K in your pocket.

Hmm...I live in Florida and hurricane season is coming up. I would really hope that this would not be the year that I get any losses due to hurricane damage, but if that should happen....it'd be nice to replace my Marquee 9500LC with a brand new one from VDC. It would be a bargain as I could get free shipping, saving several hundred dollars! (VDC is about a 20 minute drive from me.)
Yeah, this PJ needs to be on the homeowner's valuable equipment inventory.

can you realli do that with a CRT you got off ebay? if you're insured... you can get the full retail value? eventhough you may have only paid 150 for it? i also have two 4100s here..
