Looks like a VPH 1001, the last video only set that SOny put out. Uses 07MS tubes. If the tubes are in good shape, it gives a great non HD 480i image.

I don't have specifics but it's an early 80s model and there's now way it does HD. If it does as much as 480p I'd be surprised.
It's an even lower model than the VPH-722Q1 I started out with, and that was NTSC only. It could not take anything more than that.
Worthless.

also, its get to be newer then 80's as it has the same panel layout as the vph-1001 (as curt pointed out)

No, this set was mid 90s I think. It actually worked with the 12XX wireless remote, has the same onscreen menus more or less, although the convergence is still manual.
I remember seeing them new in the box from Henry Fu on eBay for $10K back around 1999-2000 when I started on eBay. Never seen the gray front though.

No, they are about on par. I'd even say the Sony is better since it has replacement parts available. Very few Cine 6 were sold, I've never seen one in person.
