Hi folks
I was watching a movie the other night on my Ampro 4000G when I suddenly lost the blue. No loud pop, no arcing sound, no error messages, just no blue. I unplugged the set and let it sit for a day or so. I checked inside and could not see anything abnormal. Switched the rgb cables around to make sure the problem was not on my source. All the leds are green except the +5 and 12V which I believe are suppose to be on as well as the flashing I2C.
This pj has given reliable service over the years and it was sold by Curt to a fellow member of this forum before I got a hold of it. I know its probably bearing the weight of its age but, it is still in good shape and throws a nice picture. Anyone have a clue as to where I should start looking?

Swap the CRT sockets between tubes. THose fail regularly, and I've got spares.

Sorry to sound like a noob but by CRT socket, do you mean the whole amp card with attached wires or just the high tension lead on the card?

The wires may not be long enough to reach so you can disconnect and just swap cards if need be. You should be able to leave the red focus wire connected though as that one may reach.

Never mind. Don't answer that. I swapped the card and Curt, you were right on the money so, I guess I need a new amp card. Will email you.
