I've decided to get out of the RPTV business and move on to a new 65" plasma. Consequently, there won't be any space in my setup for this venerable workhorse. The TV's been good to me with only two failures (I reflowed the solder joints on the PS about two years ago and replaced the deflection board through Pioneer about six months ago) over its eight year life. No cosmetic issues and I do have the screen protector which was never installed. I also have the complete set of service manuals for this beast.
Free to a good home in the Washington, DC, area, the only catch is that I will be unable to help move the TV and, as you know, this beast weighs a ton and it will take 3-4 normal sized guys to move it (although it was delivered and taken out of the box by only two guys) and a pick-em-up truck to haul it away.
The new TV's coming next Thursday 6/3 and the delivery guys will take the Pioneer to the "glue factory" if someone else doesn't pull off a rescue.
