I have a question regarding something strange.
I own a Dwin 500. Working ok on 1080i/60. But when i feed it 1080i/50 change cropping occurs, but the geometry settings are ok. My blueray does 1080i/60 so no prob here, but all digital cable boxes here output 1080i/50 at most.
Has anyone else experienced this problem or know what can cause this?

It's known problem that cable box 1080i/50 resolution have bad timings for analog device like crt projector.
Digital displays work ok with those timings, but for analog displays it's needed scaler to fix timings.
With scaler you can also chance refresh rate to 75Hz to prevent flickering.

i thought something like that , anybody tips on what an affordable scalar is ? I'm happy with my bluray image , so spending a fortune to watch soapopera's from my cablebox in the correct way is not an option that makes me very happy.

The HDFury3 doesn't change the signal. It will just put out what ever signal you send into it.

Vraag anders even op HTForum.nl of iemand er een basale scaler over heeft om de porches aan te passen.
