It seems that most of the chat on this forum is from people who have EM focus projectors and high end at that hec there is even a thread on who has got a 1209.
How many forum members have ES focus projectors would interesting and I will start I do Barco 1101+ (the + is because it has parts from other PJs).
Of course I realise I could be one of a small number but lets see.

ECP 4500 x 2. Fun and easy to work on, put out an awesome picture. The recent upgrade to a Zenith 1200x gives a larger image in the same space and has much better dynamic range. Aside from that I don't really see any difference in IQ with DVD. I'm sure if I did a proper greyscale on the 4500 it would have looked even better. Will eventually put one above the bed.

I have the equivalent of a Barco Cine 7 (late model Runco). Love it. I've never seen the image from another CRT PJ, so I don't have anything to compare it to.
I watched IronMan2 at the local Cineplex (film, not digital) earlier this week and I dare say my own HT easily has a better image playing a Blu-Ray (PS3). Perhaps the projection at the Cineplex wasn't spot on, but my PJ certainly has a sharper image.

bd600 that throws a nice 1080i/480p pic (actually I can still see scan lines at 600p)
also I installed another bd600 for my father who still uses it.
I sold my 1209s/E 5 years back. Got a new house 2 years ago and installed bg800 which broke a few weeks after then 1100 which also died shortly. I loved the 1100 but wish I could find a bg801s to swap boards for a upgrade as I have a set of new 9' 146a tubes to put in it when I can fix it.

I'm using a Sony 1270q. I picked up an HDfury and an Iscan Hd to use 1080i and all I can say is WOW! I really likes! I've fined tuned my focus as much as I can and I'm truly happy with it. But according to most guys here ES Focus units can only go so far. I honestly haven't seen an EM in action yet, but I trust what the folks on this board say. So, after the 1270 takes a dump, I'm certainly upgrading.

If you install the bg801s frame in the 1100 you will have a 1101 and yes a great picture

Sony 1251q with 21 point boards here. Love it and will put it up against almost any digital under $3K. PS3, HDFury, and BOX1020 for gamma, looks great to me.
