|

couldnt find the moome section thats why i ask it here.
i know there are others who have the same problem or had the same problem.
when using vga out from the pc to the pj everything works fine but when using dvi-hdmi out to the moome my text is cropped.
i use powerstrip and a ati hd4890.
i hope someone knows a solution to this cause i prefer using dvi out because of the better picture i get when using the moome card.
the resolution is set to 1920*1080 72hz.

Increase your timings. that is add more total pixels to the width or vertical lines. I think i used 2500 total lines keep the actual lines at 1920 and increase the back porch settings. try to keep the sync timing at least 1us. Make sure the front, back, sync and actual lines equal the total 2500. so use 1920 +Back porch+front porch+sync=2500. The 2500 number is just a starting point. you might find you can lower that number and then adjust the others accordingly.

hi nashou i have tried everything but when i get above a refresh rate of 65 hz the image starts to crop, could it be that the moome is causing this.

i tried that both short and long, this didnt change anything regarding the cropping.
it may be a driver issue or a powerstrip issue, i mailed arno too cause he had the same problem and he got so fed up with it that he bought a lumagen and now all is working well at his place.
i put back the rgbhv cable for now, gonna watch pirates of the carribean tonight.

with 1920x1080p at 72 Hz you could well be (or pretty certainly are) beyond the 165 MHz limit of the moome card

that must be it thanks kai.
i am running at a pixelclock of 185mhz so that explains of course the cropping above 65hz or so.
i will mail moome and ask him if he has a solution for this.
