when i start it, it changes brightness and the contrast ain't that good and it flickers like it is in low hz. sometimes it blacks out then back on . i switch resolutions back and fourth then it stops .doesn't happen all the time just most and after it warms up it runs smooth for hours. haven't change the dallas chip yet ,would that be it ?

If its working fine once warmed up I wouldn't worry too much. This isn't a symptom of a failing Dallas chip.
I usually turn on my pj about 15 mins before I plan to watch anything which stabilizes everything and allows the tubes to reach optimal intensity. White screen turned off.

thanks, i switched my pc to A input instead of c and the last two times it been stable from the start
|

Check your BNC cables and terminators.
