Can somebody tell me if the thrown distance must be changed if I replace the standard lenses by some "US PRECISION DELTA HD-8 rev A" lenses

I don't believe the throw distance would changed but why would you changed the standard rev b for rev a? From what I understand the rev b are superior.

Well, I made a mistake. The spare lenses I have are written on : "US PRECISION DELTA HD-8".
Compared to the standard HD-8 rev B (plastic casing), they are bigger and heavier (13 lbs), and the casing if full aluminium.
Also the output glass diametre is bigger. The fixation is also different (floatting ring).
My screen is 2m base and the distance to the projector (first support angle) is 2m85.
For me they look as being better quality. I was told that they were a Barco option costing more than 2K atthe time.

Some say that older metal casing ones have better corner focus.
I guess that both have same throw. If you already have both lenses, that is verified very quickly by swapping one lens.

If you need HD-8 reb B's, let me know. I have a minty set I would send you for the cost of shipping.
