Since the multi decoder board have no use in a normal setup I was wondering if it could be used as a simple S-video/composite to RGB converter.
Does any one have the service manual/schematic for these boards?
At least a pinout or something.

Hello
You would not have input switching, or the ability to set color and tint, unless the module is in the projector. Electrohome did not include schematics in the service manual.

Thanks.
I could not find any info on the decoding chips, guess it's done by the big ITT chips.
I guess the input switching is done by the LT1204 and could possibly be overridden. (simple 2bit logic according to datasheet)
Do you know if the board spits out RGB constantly as long as it gets signal in or if it needs to be "turned on"?
From what I understand the only thing coming out of the module is one RGB (+ RGB into the module?). LR audio and HV-sync.
Power is +-15V and +5V.
Then three pins that I guess would be I2C data.
As for color/tint control, not sure if it is needed as all we have here is PAL.
