|
|
I had this set up once by a firm that does this but now I cannot get the Sony to recognize the IFB-FULLHD input. I looked quite alot to see if there is a topic on this but could not find one. It may be too much to ask but is there a step by step method to get Input B on the Sony setup correctly? I know enough to only be dangerous but I don't know all the settings that are needed to get the Sony to see the Panasonic DMP-BD30 Blu-ray player. The Blu-ray is hooked directly to the IFB-FULLHD card.
Note, and I don't know if this is an issue, I have both the component and the HDMI going from the BLu-Ray to the projector. The component goes through my Faroujda 5000 processor first. I do this so I can see the BluRay menus to change it over to 1080p/24.
Thanks and if this has not been answered here, does anyone know where I can look? I don't want to call the service guy out again and spend the money if I can figure it out myself.
Equipment of interest to this:
Sony G90
IFB-FULLHD
Panasonic DMP-BD30 Blu-ray
Thanks,
Rick

Still no joy, the back lights on the card keep flickering through DET(ect) and the Red on the left side (pj is mounted on the ceiling so i guess it's upside down). As it does this the Sony reports Existing Input Mem to No Input back and forth, that's all I get. I hooked the player to a TV, set it to 1080p (which that tv doesn't support) and turned the 24b off but I'm still stuck.
Thanks,
Rick

Hang on, I may have a bad HDMI cable. I'll try to get another one and try it out. I'll let you know. Thanks for the responses.

Well I tried a working cable and that's not the problem. I will intermittently get an error code on the Blu-ray that the manual describes as either:
-The connected equipment is not HDMI compatible
-The HDMI cable is damaged
When I connect the cable, the IFB-FULLHD's status lights oscillate between red and green in sync with the flicker of the Sony's status on the screen oscillating between no input and existing input memory.
I was able to set it to 1080p and turn off the 25fps but it still behaves the same.
Could the card have gone bad or is there something I can look at in the Sony setup. I do have the Clamp set to H/C.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,
Rick

I just noticed you posted this in the HDFury forum. I'll move it over to Moome's forum. He'll jump in and help you.

the DET LED should keep light up and no blinking for normal case,
if it keep blinking every 2 seconds, it may a card problem.
you need send back for repair!
