Media Tank for smooth Mkv playback?

I have a egreat m34a and while I'm very happy with playback on downloads,I find it struggles with my 1 to 1 BD rips. It does however play the files fine if I convert them to TS format however,seeing though I have somewhat 300 mkv's I'm not going to bother converting.
Does anyone have any ENDUSER experience with said mkv's with flawless playback on their mediatank?
