Hello all,
A few months orso I had a problem with my beamer, but is was fixed with your help.
please see https://www.curtpalme.com/forum_archived/viewtopic.php@t=17929.html
Now I again have a problem with the convergence. I did not have time to take pictures yet, so I will try to explain.
In the below left corner the lines used fot the convergence are all screwed up (sorry for that). The lines have stange bends in them etc. making the projected image just as screwed up.
The stange thing is that if i set the left trapezoid to max the issue is solved - but then the trapezoid is not correct offcourse.
As I explained earlier I have had this same problem a few months ago, resulting in a defect convegence tray. I have replaced it with a convergence tray from my 708 and it worked fine fore a few months.
Is the convergence tray indeed defect again? And how can I come up with a more permanent solution? Do I need to change the components on the board orso?
I'm pretty close to trowing the entire damn thing out.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Edit: some pictures:

Since its only in one corner it looks to me to be convergence. Do you have any spare boards to swap out? If you really like this projector a good supply of spare boards is the way to go and for the 701 they should be very cheap ask Curt.
