I know you guys have some issues with Greg Eisemann's salesmanship but he has
the connections for tubes we must all admit. On Avs http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=1224199
he posted about the interest of having new from Scratch G70 tubes made.
I assume the larger the order the less expensive they would be. Not sure how much
VDC charges but these would be made the same as the higher quality LUG's he can get.
From the reports on those tubes has been very favorable.

So I thought id pass along the info for those who do not frequent AVS as much anymore.

I bet if at least 20 or so come together for new tubes they would make a run, maybe
Greg would have some extras made up as well. he did not ask me to do this I just thought
some G70 owners would like to have option for the hard to find green tubes.

I could use a new Green if the price is right.

Not because it is worn, its an 8 in that department. Its just that the focus is poor compared to my red/blue.

I Hope this works out, I have been in Discution with Greg for A few Months about the P16,08 Type Sim Grade tubes and told Greg I wanted to go ahead and try them out (green) compared to the Panasonic which I also have A Brand new spare Set..

While I was told it would take about A month, there was no mention of needing an order of 20 or more before the Factory will go ahead, Untill I read Gregs post's over @ AVS stating the above Confused ..

I am Keen,
Cheers..

This is what I see with my Low hour G70, Red Blue Razer sharp hattch pattern while Green hattch A little less so Even after optimising the Neck Assembly's
Running @ 1920x800p @ 48Hz, If I switch back to Custom Pal 720p @ 75Hz Green is Razer sharp,
So the Green is struggling in my opinion thus thought I would try out the Sim Grade..

I am sure if Greg could gather anough intrest that the Price would be good, Every body that has the Sim Grade LUG's
has commented how superior they perform compared to Stock Lugs and Tubes, JohnHWman even use's A Green in his G90 I think..

Cheers..

While I would maybe have an interest in a new green, I have no desire to pay $1k for a bare tube. If I am spending that kind of money, then I would want a 9" tube.
