got any HVPS for an 8000? Got any 8500 chassis' with bad/burnt tubes?

one other note: when i push the power button pn rear panel, fan in center rear visibly shunts, then does not move. No hv anywhere as far as i can tell

edited to note: it was late ..... i was tired ..... and i meant to post this in the "FREEBIE" thread.....

What do you mean power button on rear Panel? There is no power button on the rear panel. Just either the connected remote or the IR remote.

There are three belly fans in the center of the PJ under the Tubes you might be able to see them spin if you look down into the HDM or FCM heat sink holes in their cages.

If one is not working it might not be the HVPS but a cooked HDM.

no, beg to differ but there's a button on rear panel for power and after pushing on the main power button of front of pj, which puts in stand-by mode, i then press the power button( farthest left on rear) and see the rear center top fan shunt slightly then into previously mentioned cycle it goes
