What does one look for on a gun assembly to gauge initial CPC placement. All of the P19's magnetics were in exactly the same place but these Thomas tubes have different guns in them.

I believe the CPC magnets should be set in the neutral position both electrically and mechanically for initial setup.

Not sure if it matters Chip, I remember reading some where about 1-2 mm back from the focus yoke clamp. Try it there and up closer and see, do it in the null position. See where focus is best if it even changes it al all while nulled i guess.
