I am showing a faint top to bottom rolling pattern in the green tube. If you consider the tubes as seven inches, I would say the bands are a half inch horizontals. They appear lighter than the rest of the picture. Its subtle but the movement makes it noticeable. I'd say it takes about three or four seconds to go from top to bottom.

Funny last night I would swear it was in the red tube only. (Wasn't your hump on the left side?...)

First I am going to go explore the possibility of flex pressure. Its temporarily positioned on a stand just above sofa height firing straight. The ass end of the projector is being lifted by a brick and small aluminum blocks. Its possible too much weight is flexing the chasis but I am not sure. I also thought it could have been caused by a modest fonzie slap possibly loosening something. It started in the second half of Star Trek last night. We did have a moment where one of the side supports slipped out and it slightly shifted. Last night was the projector's maiden voyage. Things happen.

I keep answering my own questions.
Hope you don't mind my posting them.

I tried jiggling the cables of course which made no difference.
But I just swapped the green cable for the synch cable and that seems to have done the trick.
I should probably buy new cables.

Hmm. This seems like an issue that is going to come and go. I had the projector on again with my new swapped configuration and I saw the rolling again. And then later I didn't .

So I am still open to suggestions.
