TV/Projector: All of them!

It won't matter. You can't see them, so they simply aren't there.

This is not a new idea, although the implementation of the drivers is different. There was a company called BES (now called something else I think) that made styrofoam speakers similar to the Triads.

A driver in the back of unit was coupled to the styro, and there were T Bar ceiling tile dropins along with in wall mounts very similar to the Triads as shown above. The speakers ranged from $150-500 each retail I think, and sounded terrible when hung in free air, but not too shabby when installed in a wall. I b ought 2 palletfuls years ago when one supplier got out of distribution of them, and sold them for about $3500 total in about 4 installs. I think I paid $400 for both skids.

THe pros and cons- as I said, installation was easy, you couldn't see them, but if played loudly, I've heard stories of paint cracking over the styro diaphragm, which makes sense.

Also, BES bragged about some arena in Mexico(??) that they installed a very strange looking cluster over the field, but the air was so acidic that the styro panels crumbled within a few years. Oops.

I'm guessing the Triads will sound better than the BES, but I'm guessing the paint cracking thing could be an issue with the Triads as well.
