I've got a customer that's interested in buying 5 Marquee projectors from me, but the issue is, he's not too much of a hands on person, and wants someone to assist in the case of a failure of a projector. He'd be buying 1 of the projectors as a spare, so there would be 100% spare parts on site. 4 projectors will be installed in a commercial application, and would be used about 6 hours a day. He currently has worn out Zenith PRo 900s, that aren't overly user friendly to service, and he's had some downtime due to his tech not wanting to work on them any more, and me being short of some parts, as well as misdiagnosing some of the problems he's had, requiring multiple shipments of parts.
Who here would be willing to do some on site service work? I know Analogrocks is nearby, anyone else?
(this is related to the post from 2-3 weeks ago of me coming to Toronto to do the install, I'd give a crash course on setup and repairs of the install as well).
Thanks!

I don't know. They are waffling pending a service tech available locally. I know Analog can assist, there's also Joust that I'll shoot an email to.

I set up Barry's (Joust) 8500 and 8500LC, along with a couple other Marquee's in the area and the 6 Marquee's I went through. I've done my fair share of troubleshooting on the various machines I've had. Remember that both Barry and I live in Ottawa so it's a good drive to Toronto from here. If you need someone send me an email.
Chris.

Thanks guys! I've let the customer know that there are at least 4 people that can assist, now I'm just waiting for a goahead.
Cheers!
