After bleeding all the tubes I got them back in OK for the most part. I may have messed up the blue. I can get the test patterns for the green and red and can turn the red tube off, but the blue doesn't respond to anything. The photo was taken with the lens on but with it off it would look like a dark blue rectangle with the lines running through (the lighter parts just show up taking the pic through the tube). Any ideas?

Also I set the projector at the prescribed distance for a 100" screen (as the previous owner did), but I have to adjust the focus to -100% now and it's still not quite there. I have to move the unit forward (or maybe it was back) probably a couple of feet to get it close. I obviously messed this up taking the tubes out to bleed (which they sorely needed). I am reading as much as I can, but haven't found anything regarding this yet. Thanks for any info.

you may have pulled loose some of the very short video wires on the CRT board, or where they connect to the video driver board under the metal cover. It's a very bad design.

You might also have bent a pin on the blue tube when putting on the CRT socket. Also a stupid design, no room behind the tube to install the socket.

Otherwise, the blue tube neckboard has failed.

But given the circumstances, I think Curt is right.

Thanks so much Curt, it was one of the video wires. Metal cover pulled it out.

Think NEC could have added a couple of inches to those wires? Nooooooooooooooo!

I had to move the wires around putting the metal cover back in place. Those (and other wires) are really short.
