Should I get a Spyder3 or Eye-One Display LT?

I'd like to calibrate a few display devices in my house:

Front-projector
LCD TV
CRT TV
2xPC LCD

...and I can't afford anything above $150 (for the meter). I also only want things to look "good" and don't need anything to be perfect.

It seems like two options exist though:

Eye-One Display LT ($150) and Spyder 3 TV ($99). I'd probably use the Calman software so that's why I'm mentioning the Spyder 3 TV instead of the Elite, etc.

From what I've gathered, the Eye-One display is better but it doesn't work well with front-projectors. Is this true?

I've also read that both of these meters, and anything under $500 or so, is going to be garbage and be completely inaccurate and pretty much a waste of money.

If the above is true I can save a lot of headache is somebody lets me know but if I can see some good improvement in my displays than I would be happy...

Careful with Spyder units and accuracy.

Take a look at my FAQ "Which meter is right for me?": https://www.curtpalme.com/forum_archived/viewtopic.php@t=11436.html
