I have a service manual I downloaded for a Toshiba 65HX81, however, it really is the manual for the lower end model of that year(65H81) which is NOT the same and is missing dozens of the adjustment codes in the 65HX81 which are made up of a number of numbers and letters. There are basic "universal" adjustments for pic.size and geometry, B, R and G cut and drive, universal brightness etc. along with access to the internal convergence menu but that's about it. Anybody out there have a more complete list of these adjustments and what they do on this particular model?
I would like to be able to access the "Greyscale For Dummies" info, but I can't access the controls I need to do the adjustments.

Well I tried to find a free copy of the exact model of yours but no good. Probably the only way to find the answers to your question would be to buy a manual. Probably can find a download for 10-15 bucks. I'm really not sure of just what adjustments your looking for. Sorry
What is the chassis number of the manual you downloaded?

Thanks for the response, unfortunately, this manual stuff is THE problem. Several months ago I downloaded what I thought was the manual from the "Service Manuals" website which showed the model number (65HX81) "Cinema Series" as being the manual that I purchased. Unfortunately, and as I mentioned in my previous post, they sent me the manual for the 65H81 which, the website indicated, other than a few pages of additional part numbers, was the same for both monitors. IT IS NOT. My model has FOUR different independent inputs (2 component/2SV) all with independent picture and calibration controls along with dozens of other adjustment options in the service menu which DON'T indicate what their function is. There are also service menu controls in the manual that don't jive between models. That is my dilemma. I was looking for what would be comparable to the "RGB Low" and RGB High" controls that Kal mentions in his "Greyscale For Dummies" text.
Perhaps a phone call to Toshiba might be warranted here.
