.. I found out who is hoarding all the case parts! Mr. Green

Painting the house mandated that I clear out and reorganize all of my case parts stored under the house. I threw out a bunch, I still have a crapload left. Not shown are the 5 boxes of new Marquee parts and lids I have. Very Happy

Those are 1292 cases, but there's a G90 carcass behind the 1272 case top. Worn tubes, bad YA board, I scrapped it.

I think it looks fine, surely no worse than the piles of parts I have around the shop, or the hundreds of plastic totes we use on the farm that are in piles in the driveway, yes in view of the street.

When I moved in, I was thinking about enclosing the entire under deck area, but due to the weather, the house attracts big wolf spiders anyways, and the more light under there, the less chance of attracting all sorts of unwanted beasties.

Oh my god! You're dragging down real estate values! You're causing crime! Your grass is half an inch too tall! The Home Owners' Association ninjas will be dispatched immediately! Wink

Oh, you too? I get those ugly bastards around my house and they give me the willies I tell ya. Shocked That reminds me it's time to spray around the perimeter again. I'm gonna drop the friggin A-bomb of poison on their ugly mugs!

THis year it was wasps, bigtime. Everyone working around the house got stung, except for our family. Home Depot and WalMart were sold out of wasp spray when I went to go get it yesterday. None until the end of the week. Finally went to a smaller hardware store where they had it.

I noted with interest your collection of cases, and was wondering if you had come across the door I am looking for, I did not recognize any BARCO cases, but I thought I would ask anyway.
Many thanks

There's a pile of Barco cases, the hinges Braco had been using since '82 or so gave them away;-).

I can't believe nobody has noticed the giant 3-number score display panel hanging on the wall in the back. Looks like a 1nn panel - so for basketball, I guess. Never know when you might need one THOSE hanging around! Wink

I bought a 1 man company about 10 years ago, and that's what he did- repaired scoreboards. I actually threw out a messload of spare parts, since at this point a lot of arenas have gone digital, but I more than got my money back out of doing repairs over the last 10 years. RG58 cable sent the serial data signal to the scoreboards. I still have one bolted to my shop wall, as once every 2-3 months I get a call. I also nailed some some system installations due to me being in the school/gym and commented about the poor sound system in the place. Smile

I've still got two 4X 8' basketball scoreboards here, and one 4 X 12' outdoor football one that I've never used. I've rented them to movie sets as well.

That's cool man.

Kal, can we get a virtual "tour Curt's shop/crt storage"? That would be cool.
